Catalogue orders

  1. Order electronically.

Click on the "order from a catalogue" link that appears above the navigation menu. Enter the full catalogue code; any colour, size and inseam information as necessary; select the quantity; and enter the single-unit price of the item. Repeat this step to add more items to your order form. When you are done, click the "add to shopping basket" button. Complete your transaction by following the step-by-step "Order Online" information detailed above

Today, most browsers and networks allow encrypted transmission. But you may find that your browser does not support it, or that you are behind a "firewall" that blocks the transmission of encrypted data packets. If you cannot or would rather not use our secure web server, then we'd suggest you use method 2.

  2. Let our website prepare your order form, then send it to us.

Once you have added an item to your shopping basket - either through the "order from a catalogue" method or through browsing the online assortment and selecting items - you reach the "shopping basket" page. Here you can click on the "place order manually" button. Our web server will display your order on a printable order form. Simply print the order form on your printer, add your name, address, and payment method, and either fax it to us at 1-800-54-FAXIT (1-800-543-2948) or mail it to us at the address below:

    Sears Canada Inc.
    Box 5700
    Belleville, Ontario
    Canada, K8N 5L3

  3. Print a blank order form, fill it in and send it to us.

Simply print the Sears Catalogue Order Form/Work Sheet and write your order in. Fax or mail your order to us (same number and address as above.)

Price Protection Plus

At Sears, you get the peace of mind knowing you never need to shop around for a better price even from the comfort of your home. That’s because all Appliances, Sewing Machines, Vacuum Cleaners, Home Furnishings, Mattresses and Electronics* come with Sears Price Protection Plus.

What is Price Protection Plus?

With any purchase of Appliances, Sewing Machines, Vacuum Cleaners, Home Furnishings, Mattresses and Electronics* that is made with your Sears Financial Credit Card, we will match a Canadian retailer’s advertised price for 90 days. Purchases made with any other tender are covered for 30 days.

How does Price Protection Plus work?

Option 1: Come in.

  • Bring in a copy of a Canadian retailer's advertisement with an identical item advertised for less to one of our sales associates in store. Once they verify the details, we’ll match their price.
  • If you have already purchased the item at Sears, bring in a copy of a Canadian retailer's advertisement with an identical item advertised for less and your original Sears receipt to one of our sales associates in store. Once they verify the details, we’ll refund the difference.

Option 2: Call in.

  • Call 1-800-26SEARS with the url and page of a Canadian retailer’s website where the exact same item is found. Once the Customer Support associate verifies the details, we’ll match their price.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER:

*Price Protection Plus on Electronics is valid up to 30 days only on all tender types.

  • For Appliances including sewing machines and vacuum cleaners, and Home Furnishings including furniture (e.g. bedroom, living room, kitchen, dining, home office, ready to assemble), upholstery, recliners, and rugs. The Price Protection Plus must be used on identical product (same manufacturer’s product code, model, SKU number). The item must be in stock and available at the advertised price.
  • For Mattresses the Price Protection Plus can be used on comparable national brand and SEARS-O-PEDIC sleep sets. The item must be in stock and available at the advertised price.
  • Price Protection Plus only applies to current and new merchandise (refurbished merchandise is not applicable).
  • If a competitor is advertising a percentage discount (e.g. 10% off appliances) Sears will match the dollars, not the percentage.
  • Price Protection Plus applies to the purchase price of the merchandise only, and does not apply to add-on related services such as delivery, installation, maintenance agreements, special credit or financing terms.
  • Price Protection Plus can be used in conjunction with a legitimate written quote from a Canadian competitor (e.g.: product quote sheet or actual sales receipt).
  • For C.O.D. orders (where accepted), cash will be refunded or a cheque will be mailed to your home address; for account purchases the refund will be handled by a credit to the account used (credit may appear on the next statement that follows the statement showing the item purchase).
  • Price Protection Plus can not be combined with any other promotional offer.
  • Price Protection Plus does not apply to clearance products, advertising errors, factory closeouts, store opening specials, time specials or limited quantity offers (e.g. Boxing Day, Black Friday), builder rebates, auction website prices, licensed departments, club retailers, co-op or wholesale purchases, United States or Internet-only retailers, bundle promotional offers, and credit/financing terms.
  • This program may be amended or discontinued at any time without notice.
  • For more information, contact the Sears call centre at 1-800-26-SEARS.

Price Match Guarantee

Excludes Appliances, Sewing Machines, Vacuum Cleaners, Home Furnishings, Furniture, Mattresses and Electronics.

For Children's Apparel and Footwear, Nursery Products or Juvenile Products, we'll match any competitor's advertised price for identical merchandise offered in Sears catalogues and on sears.ca within 30 days of purchase, or 90 days on purchases made with your Sears Financial™ Credit Card.

What does the Price Match Guarantee cover?

Price Match Guarantee applies to all departments except those covered by Price Protection Plus. We reserve the right to verify that the competitor is an authorized dealer located in Canada, that the advertisement is correct, and that the merchandise is identical (same brand, manufacturer and model name/number), and is in-stock at the competitor's local store. The competitor's offer must be in effect at the time of the Price Match request and the advertisement must pertain to the same geographic area.

Price Match Guarantee for Sears catalogue and website purchases does not include prices in Sears retail stores, Sears Home/Decor stores, Hometown stores, Outlet/Liquidation stores, Sears Outlet Site or other Sears website exclusive advertised prices. Price Match Guarantee does not apply to Sears HomeCentral installed products and services or licensed departments. Excludes competitor club, co-op or wholesale purchases, limited quantity offers, clearance, after-rebate or coupon discounted prices, auction website prices, discounts for 'cash' purchases and damaged, reconditioned, shop-worn, floor model or other items that are not new and first quality.

Offer applies to the purchase price of the merchandise only, and does not apply to add-on related services such as delivery, installation, maintenance agreements, special credit or financing terms.

This program may be amended or discontinued at any time without notice.

How do I request a Price Match?

Price Match requests cannot be made at time of ordering; requests must be made in person. At pick-up, or within 30 days of pick-up or home delivery, bring in the local competitor's current print advertisement showing a lower price for the identical national-brand item, and your original Sears sales receipt, to the nearest Sears catalogue location. Canadian website prices as offered by comparable competitors will be honoured when accompanied by a printout of the current website advertisement. If your request qualifies, you will be refunded the difference in price.

For C.O.D. orders (where accepted), cash will be refunded or a cheque will be mailed to your home address; for account purchases the refund will be handled by a credit to the account used (credit may appear on the next statement that follows the statement showing the item purchase).

Pricing and Ordering

Our website pricing

All prices quoted are in Canadian dollars and do not include any applicable fees, charges or taxes including but not limited to, sales taxes, installation charges (labour or materials), home delivery charges, or fees for optional financing programs. Shipping fees may also apply to certain Sears Catalogue pick-up locations. COD available for telephone orders only, and not available to all shipping locations. You will be advised of all applicable charges before we ship your order.

Unless otherwise stated, all price comparisons refer to Sears catalogue or website prices offered nationally in Canada. For many savings offers, Sears regular price will take effect after the sale. Dates and/or times for sales and promotions will be determined according to Pacific Time (PST). "Our current website price" is the selling price on sears.ca and may vary from Sears printed catalogue prices and Sears retail store prices. You must 'Add To Basket' directly from the website item page in order receive the website price.

Unless otherwise stated, "Lowest Prices of the Season" and "Lowest Prices of the Year" refer to Sears Retail stores, catalogue and website prices, during the time period stated. When we say "Lowest Prices of the Season" or "Lowest Prices of the year", that means that we have not offered, and will not offer, a lower price for that season or year. The Spring season runs from February 1 to April 30. The Summer season runs from May 1 to July 31. The Fall season runs from August 1 to October 31. The Winter Season runs from November 1 to January 31. The year runs from January 1 to December 31. These statements do not include offers promoted during ‘Black Friday' and ‘Cyber Monday' events, After Christmas Boxing Day/Week sales starting December 25, clearance prices, store closing/moving sales or Outlet/Liquidation store prices.

Some items which are sold by Sears in our retail stores but not in our printed catalogues, may be offered to you on this website at the current Sears retail store price. In these cases, the comparison "Sears retail regular price" refers to the regular prices offered in Sears retail stores nationally in Canada. Not all retail store items are available in all store locations; to inquire by phone, check your local phone directory or click here to find the location and phone number of a store near you.

As a convenience, you may place orders from Sears printed catalogues using this website. From the sears.ca home page, click on 'Order From A Catalogue'. If you order after a catalogue has expired and merchandise is still available, you will be advised of the current price for that item. This price may be higher than the price printed in the expired catalogue. IMPORTANT: Some items may be offered at lower prices on this website, but you must 'Add To Basket' directly from the website item page in order to receive the website price.

Website offers, prices and merchandise availability are subject to change without notice. We endeavour to display to you only those items which are currently available to order, and item status is refreshed frequently. However, it is possible that some items, sizes and/or colours will be out of stock at the time you order. When your order is processed, you will receive an order confirmation verifying receipt of your order and confirming the availability and selling prices of all items in your order. In some cases, we may offer you a substitution of equal or better value.

Our real-time inventory system sometimes is not able to keep up with demand, and we may have to cancel certain orders after they are accepted. We apologize for any inconvenience should this occur with your order. While we try to ensure accuracy, we reserve the right to correct any errors in pricing or descriptions, and to cancel or refuse to accept any order based on an incorrect price or description. Such corrections may be made even after an order is accepted.

Price calculations

The prices shown in your shopping basket are either the prices you entered or are the prices listed on our website for each item selected. The Total Price is calculated from the single-unit price for each item and does not reflect multiple-purchase discounts or other offers. Actual prices are recalculated when your order is passed to our central computer for processing. All prices quoted are in Canadian dollars and do not include sales taxes.

Payment options

Sears.ca accepts the Sears® MasterCard® , Sears Card, American Express, VISA, and MasterCard credit cards and VISA Debit cards. We do not accept cash, cheques or COD for online orders. Remember to use your Sears MasterCard or Sears Card and earn Sears Club™ Points that you can redeem towards almost anything at Sears!

Environmental Levy

Questions & Answers

Q: Why am I paying this environmental levy/environmental handling fee (EHF)?

A: Provinces across Canada have set requirements on retailers, manufacturers and distributors to finance the recycling and safe disposal of designated waste products. Designated products cover largely electronics and electrical items, as well as some household hazardous wastes. This Environmental Levy on these designated products funds the recycling of these products that become waste. Each levy collected goes toward the local provincial program managing the collection, recycling and safe disposal of this waste stream.

Q: Is this a tax?

A: No, the fees collected go directly to the various provincial product stewardship programs that handle the recycling and safe disposal of applicable waste products.

Q: Who gets the money?

A: Collected levies go to the applicable program that is managing the recycling and safe disposal of that waste product category. The various programs are managed by the stewardship programs listed below.

Q: Do discounts on product sales apply to the Environmental Levy/EHF?

A: No, the levy is based on the type of the product and will apply to the product regardless of promotions.

Q: Who can I send my comments to about this fee or if I have questions about the recovery program itself?

A: If you have questions or concerns that you would like to express regarding the fee and the program it supports, you can contact:
