How to measure for your laundry room.

Getting the right size washer

If you have a large family or wash large items, choose a high capacity washer of 4½ - 5 cu. ft. For most, standard 4.0 cu. ft. is sufficient.

Getting the right size dryer

If you have room, look for one with about twice the capacity of your washer. Aim for over 7 cu. ft. since more capacity means fewer loads and less-wrinkled clothes.


How to Measure

Any doorways should be measured so a full-sized 28" wide washer will fit. If in a condo, a 24" wide compact might be your best option.
