When people think of strollers, this is probably the kind that pops into their head. Also known as a standard or full-size
stroller, this versatile model features a large, sturdy frame, adjustable seat, one-hand folding, retractable canopy and storage
space. Extras can include reversible handles, snack trays and even drink holders for parents. For everyday outings or quick
trips, this is a reliable choice.
A more lightweight, compact version of the convenience stroller is the umbrella stroller. This is a good choice as a second
stroller or for children who are at least 12 months old. These models are less expensive, lighter and fold up for easy carrying,
yet it also means they are not as adjustable as full-size strollers. They don’t offer head or neck support, so they are not
suitable for infants. Think of it as your toddler’s stroller.
