For instance, if you're hanging pieces in a kitchen or bathroom, hang in a place where it can escape damage from heat, grease and water.
Rather than nails or screws, use picture-hanging hooks as they are extremely secure. And try to use two picture hooks per hanged piece.
In general, wall-hanging pieces should be placed at or just above eye level. This may change, though, if someone is standing or sitting.
Grouping pieces can be more affordable than framing a large piece. One small piece may be out of place, but a cluster of pieces helps balance a room.
